Founded in 1987 by Andy Chan, Advance Racing brings 47 years of experience in race management, driver training, and race engineering across China, Hong Kong and Macau. Its distinguished legacy includes 10+ Asian Champions, 20+ China National Champions, and over3,OOO+ drivers trained.
Advance Kart Academy is where aspiring drivers come to learn, compete, and grow. Our programs combine professional coaching, on-track training, simulator sessions, fitness preparation, and technical support to help drivers build confidence, develop race-craft, and reach their full potential.
This team ushers in a new chapter for elite kart racing in the Greater Bay Area, built on three pillars: Advanced Racing — professional race team and race engineering; Advance Kart Academy (AKA)— driver development and training; and Advance Karting Club — community, events, and membership.

RACING DIRECTOR
With over 30 years of professional motorsport experience since 1992, Will Chan is one of Hong Kong's most decorated karting drivers and certified coaches.
Chan holds elite credentials as Vice President of the Hong Kong Kart Club (2015-2016), a 7-term committee member, and a triple-licensed coach under HKAA, FASC (China ASN), and HKSI. He also serves as course manager for premier manufacturers including AMG, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti and Yokohama.
His championship pedigree includes 2018 China Karting Champion, 2014 China Max Challenge Senior Champion and Macau KZ Champion, 2003 China ICA Champion and Hong Kong Best Driver of the Year, and 2017 HKAA Outstanding Driver Award. Internationally, he finished 4th in the CIK-FIA Asia Pacific Championship at Suzuka, competed in the IAME X30 World Final in France and Rotax Max Grand Final in Spain, and was a former official driver for CASTROL and Ericsson China Formula 2000.
As a PUMA and Stanley sponsored athlete, Chan has also mentored the next generation to Hong Kong Kart Club Championship and Best Novice titles.

A leading figure in Asian motorsport since 2002, Vica Chong combines success as and motorsport developer. championship-winning driver, FIA-certified official. As a driver, Chong is an eight-time champion, highlighted by titles in the 2017 China Karting N35Championship, 2014 Rotax Max DD2 China Championship, and multiple Hong Kong andChina Rotax Max Championships. He has represented China and Hong Kong at five Rotax Max Grand Finals and the CIK-FIA World Championship.
As an official, Chong is a FIA & CAMF trained Race Director, Circuit Director, Trainer, Steward, andCoach, and currently serves as Vice President of both the Guangxi and Nanning MotorsportAssociations. He also led the design and management of the Nanning International KartingCircuit (2017-2023), founded the Guangxi Nanning Team, and organised the China-ASEANInvitational, contributor significantly to motor sport development across the region.

Since joining Advance Racing in 1999, Fang has been a cornerstone of the organization’s success as Chief Race Mechanic of Advance Racing and Advanced Kart Academy. With over 27 years of experience in motorsport, he has played a key role in cultivating championship-winning talent, helping produce six Asian Champions, more than ten China Champions, and over ten Hong Kong Champions. Having mentored and supported the development of more than 300 young drivers throughout Greater China, Fang is a cemented as a respected figure in Karting sports in South China.

Youth karting and driver development form a cornerstone of our team. Through professional guidance, tailored coaching, and a strong emphasis on progression, we nurture Cadet and Junior drivers from their first competitive laps through to higher levels of motorsport.

Experience one of Southern China’s leading karting circuits with Advance Karting Academy. The 1.2 km Shajing Karting Track in Shenzhen offers the perfect blend of high-speed straights, sweeping corners, and technical sections, creating an authentic racing environment for drivers to develop their skills, confidence, and competitive mindset.

No experience is required for our Beginner Courses. We provide a structured introduction to karting, covering safety, driving techniques, racecraft fundamentals, and track awareness. More experienced drivers can join our Advanced Programs to further develop their competitive skills.

Yes. All necessary safety equipment is included in the program. Students receive professional safety training before entering the track, and every session is supervised by licensed HKAA coaching staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

The Summer Camp includes safety training, track walks, professional HKAA coaching, Arrive & Drive karting sessions, official timing, a Junior Karting Certificate of Achievement, lunch meals, and hands-on learning both on and off the track.

Our various coaches are HKAA Level 1 Competition Karting Coaches. Students learn directly from experienced karting racing professionals with a history of champion level competitive experience

Yes. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a Junior Karting Certificate of Achievement, recognising their participation and progress throughout the course. The certificate celebrates the skills, knowledge, and confidence gained during their training at our Kart Academy.
